Stampede, lathicharge in Minister Chiru meeting

Gowribidanur, April 28: There was a stampede when the union minister Chiranjeevi came to campaign in some of the areas of Telugu population of Karnataka, on behalf of Congress.

In Gowribidanur, a place with a thick population of Telugu settlers, fans of the former Mega Star pushed each other, to have a look at him. There was stampede. Police had to lathi-charge the crowds to bring order. Chiranjeevi is going to tour areas with Telugu population asking the people to vote for Congress.
